Tracking Your Progress

This page explains how progress tracking works in Mention and where you can see your completion status.

How progress is calculated

Your progress is tracked separately for concepts and processes:

Content type Calculation
Concept Completed article sections / total sections
Process Completed SOP tasks / total tasks

A concept is passed when all its article sections have been completed (knowledge checks passed). A process is passed when all its SOP tasks have been completed (knowledge checks passed or tasks marked as read).

Where to see your progress

On your learning home:

  • Playbook — each process shows a circular progress ring, and a checkmark once you've completed it.
  • Glossary — concepts are grouped by where you are with them: Up next surfaces the next few to start, Available lists the rest you can begin, Locked shows what's gated by unmastered prerequisites, and Mastered collects the ones you've passed. The "X of Y complete" count next to the section header tells you at a glance how much of the glossary you've worked through.
  • Ordering — incomplete items are surfaced first, so the next thing to work on is easy to find.

Per-Audience tracking

If you belong to multiple Audiences, progress is tracked independently for each one. Switching Audiences with the header selector shows the progress for that Audience only.

Mastery

You achieve mastery when you have completed all concepts and all processes across every Audience you belong to. This means every article section is passed and every SOP task is finished.

Your admin can see your completion within each Audience (in that Audience's Adoption tab), so completing your learning materials demonstrates your understanding to the team.
