Owning an Audience on Mobile¶
An Audience you own opens onto an Audience tab instead of the learner experience — the same split as the web app, where owners curate an Audience rather than learn from it. Org admins are treated as owners of every Audience. The Audience tab is the hub: it opens onto the Audience's Chat, Lessons, Gaps, and People, with a badge on Gaps when questions are waiting.
Gaps¶
Gaps is the question queue: the questions members asked that Mention couldn't answer from your sources — the same queue the web app shows on the Audience's Gaps tab. Each card shows the question, how often it was asked and by whom, and any answer that has been proposed.
- Answer — write the answer in place. Mention uses it to handle the question going forward.
- Answer with… — hand the question to Claude Cowork or ChatGPT with the gap prefilled, workshop the answer there, and let the agent write it back through the Mention MCP.
- Dismiss — set the question aside for this Audience; it comes back if someone asks again.
- A proposed answer can be approved (recording it as the answer) or rejected.
- Routed to — every card names the Audience that owns the question. Tapping it opens a sheet of your Audiences; picking one hands the question to that Audience's owners.
Org admins also see a Needs routing group above the queue, holding the questions Mention could not place with any Audience — the same group the web app pins at the top of the Gaps tab. These are org-wide, not scoped to the Audience you are looking at. See Answering Questions.
Below the queue, misunderstandings to review surface things a member said in a call or chat that conflict with your sources. Each card's action bar rules on it: No conflict, Docs stale, or Docs right. This is the same queue the web app shows in Conflicts.
Chat¶
Chat is the owner's thread with the Audience: ask what it can answer, with cited sources folded behind an N sources row under each answer. An empty thread lists Frequently asked — this Audience's ten most-asked answered questions with their counts, the demand signal. Each entry carries Turn into a lesson, which writes an article from the recorded answer and composes its lesson, exactly as on the web app's FAQ. It happens once and cannot be undone; from then on the entry links to the lesson instead. See Turning a question into a lesson.
Lessons¶
Lessons opens what this readership is told as one list, most-asked topics first, as on the web Lessons page. Tap a topic chip above the list to show only that topic; tap it again to clear it, and pick several to see them together. Add an article with the + button in the top-right corner — a title and a prompt saying what it must cover; Mention writes it from your sources and composes its lesson. Each entry opens into three panes — Article (the generated document), Lesson (a walkthrough of the composed exercises: answer each one the way a learner would and see the reveal with the rubric, the right answers, and an answer that would pass — nothing is recorded against anyone), and Progress (every learner in the Audience against this one lesson: finished, in progress, or not started, with how much of the material each has mastered) — plus a remove action. Editing an entry's brief stays on the web app.
People¶
People shows the roster: learners with their progress and standing (up to date, stalled, review overdue), owners, and pending invites. Tap a learner to see where they stand on every lesson — a progress ring per lesson with how much of its material they have mastered. Change anyone's role, remove them, or add members with the + button in the top-right corner — search existing organization members, or (as an admin) type an email to invite someone new, choosing whether they join as learner or owner.
Creating and deleting Audiences¶
Admins can create an Audience from the Audience switcher — the Audience's name at the top of the Audience page — with New audience: a name and the questions it should answer. An empty Audience (no owners, learners, or pending invites) can be deleted from the bottom of its Audience tab.
