Curating Playbooks

This page explains how you choose and organize processes into a playbook for an audience so members get the right step-by-step guidance.

Open the playbook

  1. Sign in as an admin and open Audiences from the sidebar.
  2. Pick the audience whose playbook you are editing (there's an audience switcher in the audience header).
  3. Open the Playbook tab.

This view shows the playbook's process list alongside a detail panel for whichever process you select.

What you see for each process

Extracted processes include the fields your team needs to evaluate them:

  • Name — what the workflow is called.
  • Objective — what outcome it achieves.
  • Performer — who typically does the work.
  • Trigger — what starts the process.
  • Scope — what is in or out of bounds.

Use these fields to decide whether a process belongs in this audience’s playbook.

Include processes in the playbook

Only processes you select for the playbook generate SOPs (step-by-step guides) for members. Unselected processes stay out of the member experience for that audience.

  1. Review the list of extracted processes.
  2. Select each process that should become member-facing SOPs for this audience.
  3. Leave others unselected if they are experimental, sensitive, or not relevant to this group.

You can change selections anytime as your documentation and priorities evolve.

Organize the list

Arrange processes in the order you want people to work through them — the process list is sortable, so drag and drop entries into place. You can also open a process's detail panel to read its full description (and edit its checklist of steps) before deciding whether to include it.

Regenerating SOPs

Each process's SOP is generated on demand the first time a member opens it, and then served from cache on later visits. Mention regenerates an SOP when the process changes meaningfully — for example, when you edit the process fields (Objective, Performer, Trigger, Scope) or its checklist, or activate new source assets that change what the process draws from. Members opening the process after a regeneration see the new walkthrough on their next visit.

Members can also force a fresh SOP from the walkthrough view via the Regenerate action, which resets their progress on that process and creates a new SOP. Each generation consumes credits — see Understanding Credits.
